It doesn’t matter if an author doesn’t exactly say TERFy things like a certain author does. This came onto my timeline a few times from a few days ago. As someone who identifies as nonbinary, it hurts that these authors don’t like trans or nonbinary people at all with their behavior. I don’t know about you as soon as I see TERF with authors, I immediately go yikes and silently remove all their books have their shelves. Mainly because I think we get the point, that she is just yikes all around. Sadly, I did not include Mackenzie Lee because her actions gotten worse-she’s the author that defaced the books. I thought an update might be nice, because these authors should no longer have books out, but cancel culture does not exist. Welp, at least Book Twitter is nice in this kind of way though. Book Twitter is one of the most messiest place with all of its discourses, but it is also a place where a lot of authors like to express their problematic behavior.
